Mortgage Interest Rate Update - October 1, 2024
Here’s the latest snapshot of mortgage interest rates:

30-Year Fixed: 6.14% to 6.259%
15-Year Fixed: 5.1% to 5.474%
30-Year Fixed FHA: 5.5% to 5.885%
30-Year Fixed VA: 5.6% to 6.139%
5/1 Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (ARM): 5.874% to 6.55%

Rates have seen slight fluctuations, with some programs showing minor increases, while others remained stable. Conventional 30-year fixed rates are currently trending around 6.14% to 6.259%, while FHA and VA loans are holding steady just under 6%
