Join the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, in celebrating TEXAS ARBOR DAY 2022!
We will be celebrating Texas Arbor day on November 5th, from 10a-1p, at Pecan Grove Park. This is a family friendly event, that will have activities for all ages. We will be giving away 250 trees on a first come first serve basis (2 trees per household, must be a Rowlett resident). We will have Texas native trees like Chaste Tree, Shumard Oak Tree, Tulip Poplar Tree, Willow Oak and White Oak Tree.
There will also be educational opportunities to learn more about how to plant trees and hear from our local arborist! We hope you take advantage of this opportunity, and help us plant more trees here in Rowlett Tx!
