Stay Safe During Monsoon Season
Know before you go!

Important Monsoon Season information, including the RAIN Map and Flood Safe Partners, can be found via our website: https://www.ruidoso-nm.gov/monsoon-season-awareness -time-road-conditions

The RAIN Map shows low-water crossings that are actively monitored — these are often the first areas to flood. Proceed in these areas with caution! This map is continually updated with road closures and changing conditions throughout the season.

The RAIN Map is also available on our Discover Ruidoso app! You can download the app for free from your app store.

Be sure to check local weather conditions and the RAIN Map before driving during monsoon season.
And remember: Turn Around, Don’t Drown!
