🏡 I recently toured the AbleNook model in Ybor City and was blown away by the innovation behind it!
AbleNook is a Tampa-based company creating modular, sustainable housing solutions that were originally designed for disaster relief. Built with aircraft-grade aluminum and SIP panels, these units can be assembled in just a few days and are designed to withstand hurricane-force winds up to 160 mph.
What surprised me most was the design. The interior felt more like a luxury yacht than a modular home, complete with high-end finishes and Smeg appliances. The homes are customizable, expandable, and can be reconfigured over time to fit different needs.
One of the founders described it as “what happens when Lego and Tesla have a baby,” and after seeing it in person, I can definitely see why!
It’s exciting to see innovative housing solutions being developed right here in Tampa Bay. Would you consider an AbleNook as a guest house, home office, rental property, or even a primary residence?
