WE ARE HIRING!

Part Time 20-25 Hours per week
Property Caretaker / Maintenance

Pay: $14/hr
Hours: Monday - Friday; 9am-1pm

Job Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:

-Check-in and Out with the property manager for all shifts and to receive work order requests
-Apartment Repair / Remodel if needed
-Clean premises as needed, yard upkeep, collect trash if necessary
-Perform repairs as needed in common areas such as Laundry, office, playground and apartments
-Change air filters during Pest Control & Inspections (Usually once a month we change out 25 filters)
-Keep track of necessary supplies and keep storage organized
-Fix leaks
-Paint when needed
-Clean up mold from leaks

Cumberland Square Apartments management is searching for a reliable part-time ‘Apartment Maintenance & Caretaker’ to oversee the day-to-day running of the apartment complex. The brief overall responsibilities include cleaning communal areas, lawn mowing on a regular basis, performing basic painting, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry duties and resolve tenants’ maintenance-related queries and complaints as they arise. The expectation from this position is to demonstrate an organized thorough approach to all duties and report to the apartment manager & the management. Salary based on experience level of applicant.

Apartment Maintenance & Caretaker Requirements:
• Prior experience as an Apartment Maintenance, technician or in a similar role.
• Availability on-call as needed per an emergency.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.
• Experience with basic repairs, janitorial duties
• Ability to understand & resolve tenants’ maintenance issues & complaints
