Thank you Chimney Rock Fire Department and Nick Sottile, firefighter and owner of Chimney Rock Smokehouse for marking 9/11 with this special tribute.

Giving a shout out to one of our Firefighter Nick Sottile for climbing the stairs at Chimney Rock State Park! Climbing the stairs at the park 4 times is a little under the 2071 steps that the firefighters had to climb at the World Trade Center 25 years ago today. Nick we thank you for your dedication and desire to honor those lost on 9/11.

Check out the guy at the top of the tree!! Since Hurricane Helene we have removed hundreds of damaged and fallen trees. Today we're in the final phase - removing trees that are leaning precariously close to the house or diseased and dropping branches. It's all part of keeping the grounds safe and beautiful for guests to enjoy. Thanks to Melgar's complete tree service and landscaping for carefully tackling this hazardous task so the healthy trees and plants can thrive. 💚

We are in awe of how Handiwork photography so delicately captured this wedding day. It was an honor to be the backdrop for these beautifully preserved memories. We are endlessly grateful to all the talented photographers who capture the magic of our space so tenderly.

The Farmhouse | It’s the heart of the Preserve, built in the late 1800s, and is anchored by a historic frontier log cabin.

Wow, what an awesome summer it has been, just packed with gorgeous weddings! It's pretty amazing how much behind-the-scenes magic happens with all the vendors hustling to add those perfect final creative touches. We're really looking forward to seeing our fall weddings!

Let's give a shout-out to all the amazing florists who make The Glass Chapel and Farmhouse even more beautiful with their creative designs! For this August wedding, Kristin Pearson from The Bloom Shop in Forest City crafted these absolutely lovely white roses and hydrangea arrangements. So pretty!

Big news for our little getaway! We’ve officially earned Premier Host status on VRBO for the Duncan-Logan Frontier Cabin. All of our vacation rentals now have this distinction. This recognition means a lot because we work hard to keep our spaces clean, beautiful, and relaxing for everyone who visits. Thank you to all our guests for your kind reviews and helpful suggestions. Even better—our VRBOs now have fiber internet. No more slow satellite speeds!
