Rutherford County Farm and History Museum will be opening Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the history of our county and area, with so many relics and items. The museum hours will be Wednesday-Saturdays from 10:00 until 2:00. It is located at 240 Depot Street, Forest City, NC.

National Surveyors Week - March 17-23, 2013 and North Carolina Surveyors Week - March 18-24, 2013
The Southwestern Piedmont Chapter of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors is having an exhibit of our survey equipment ( past & present ) along with many of our local land surveyors at the fountain site downtown Forest City, Saturday, March 23rd. We also would like to thank the town of "Forest City" for supporting this event.
The surveyors will be on hand to answer questions and to demonstrate how surveys are conducted. The public is welcome and encouraged to stop by from about 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
