We lost, but it was amazing to be a part of the excitement!

Illinois went on to make it to the final four – a tough team to beat. Our hearts will always beat red and blue for Penn! ❤️💙⁠

Our trip of a lifetime started in Tokyo, where we boarded our Silversea ship and set sail through Japan and South Korea.⁠

Osaka ⛩️ ⁠
Prayed like the locals at Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, then at Osaka Castle, where David channeled his inner samurai!⁠

Kyoto 🚄 ⁠
Bullet train to the Golden Kinkaku-ji Temple and Nijo Castle, the historic residence of the Shogun.⁠
⁠
Kochi 🌿 ⁠
Strolled the breathtaking Makino Botanical Garden, honoring Dr. Tomitaro Makino, the father of Japanese botany.⁠
⁠
Hiroshima 🕊️ ⁠
A profoundly moving visit to the Peace Memorial Park and the haunting A-Bomb Dome, the only structure left standing near the hypocenter.⁠

Busan 🇰🇷 ⁠
Lost ourselves in Jagalchi Fish Market and soaked up the food, energy, and culture!⁠

And then back to Tokoyo to meet Punch the Monkey at Ichikawa City Zoo, a visit to a sumo stable to watch the rikishi train, lots of shopping, and an unforgettable dinner at Nobu 🍣⁠

We got the royal treatment at The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza, where they made us feel like the only guests in the hotel ⁠
