I stopped at our familyโ€™s motel in OOB today and couldnโ€™t help sharing this beautiful fall day at my favorite beach. This is where I grew up, and even after all these years, I still feel so lucky to have it right here. To me, itโ€™s the best beach in Maine.

With seven miles of sandy shoreline, thereโ€™s so much to love beyond the summer season. OOB is charming, eclectic, and full of personality, and it holds a special place in my heart.

Iโ€™m grateful to help others find their own connection here, whether itโ€™s a home, a vacation getaway, or a rental property. Knowing the little corners of town and what makes each neighborhood different is one of my favorite parts of sharing the place I grew up.

I kicked off the weekend Friday night with my friend Luke playing ๐†๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐†๐จ๐ฅ๐Ÿ, then headed back Saturday night with friends for our annual ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐“๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ซ tradition! Two nights, two different experiences, and both were a blast! They really did an awesome job! ๐Ÿ’€โ›ณ

Squeezing in a look back at August before we move further into fall ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿก

Hereโ€™s a snapshot of how the real estate market looked across York and Cumberland Counties. Countywide numbers give us the bigger picture, but as always, the market can look very different depending on the town, neighborhood and price point.

๐Ÿฅ— Greek Quinoa Salad | Melissaโ€™s Spartan Kitchen ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท

Ingredients
2 cups quinoa, rinsed well
2 cups tomatoes, chopped, or cherry tomatoes, halved 2 English cucumbers, chopped
1 red onion, sliced
1 cup Greek Kalamata olives, halved
1โ€“1ยฝ cups Greek block feta, crumbled
ยฝ cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 cup roasted red peppers, chopped, optional
1/4 cup fresh dill or mint, chopped, optional

Greek Dressing
1/2 cup Greek EVOO
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp Greek red w**e vinegar
2 tsp wild Greek oregano
2 cloves garlic, shaved
1ยฝ tsp sea salt, or to taste
Fresh cracked pepper to taste

Cook the quinoa, let cool, add ingredients, pour over the dressing and mix well. Taste and adjust, then crumble in the feta.

๐Ÿ•ฅ Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or overnight if you can.

Serve on its own or add grilled shrimp, chicken or lamb. Itโ€™s also delicious stuffed into a pita with tzatziki or hummus. ๐Ÿค
