If you own a small investment property or house in California you need to see this video about a new form of rent control that applies if Proposition 33 passes. It sounds good until you understand that this will lead to less affordable housing, and ruin many small investors' ability to break even on their rentals. I also believe this will lead to lower tax bases, reduced public services, and urban decay. We do not need the entire state to have the problems we are now seeing in some of the Bay Area cities that go too far with Rent Control. Watch the video and decide for yourself.
