🍋 Lemonade Crew Update #15! 🍋

After 10 long days of waiting… my PET Scan is CLEAR! 🙌
God is SO good! 💛

We’re holding the course — I just finished chemo #15 (only one more to go!) with my amazing sister-in-law Sandy by my side all the way from Alaska. 💕

Next up: meeting with my thyroid doc (it’s been a little lazy lately 😅), then surgery (lumpectomy & lymph node removal), and finally radiation. Step by step, we’re getting there! 💪✨

My “Red Devil” chemo has truly been a “Red Angel” — minimal side effects and kicking cancer’s hiney! 🙏🔥

Huge love to my Lemonade Crew for lifting me up with prayers, laughter, and birthday celebrations galore! 🥰 From girls’ trips and magical dinners to surprise prayer circles in Texas — your faith has carried me.

To my family — Jay, Alex, Rachel, Zach, and Kaila — your love fills me with strength every single day. 💕

And most of all… thank you, God.
You have wrapped me in Your healing hands and reminded me daily:

🍋✨ Lemonade Crew Update! ✨🍋

Chemo #14 — Let’s Go!! 💪

Wow… what a month! It’s been a tough one, but with God’s healing hand, I’m back in the chemo chair today — thankful, hopeful, and ready to keep fighting! 🙏💛

After celebrating my birthday in Carmel and San Diego, I got hit with food poisoning, then a bad cold, fever, and even a hospital stay. Three weeks of sickness later, I’m finally feeling about 90% like myself again. Praise God! 🙌

PET scan’s now set for the 25th, surgeon visit on the 21st, and only 5 more infusions to go! 💪

Huge love to my amazing Lemonade Crew — seeing you all rocking your shirts (even in Paris!) fills my heart with joy. 💛 To my book club, Kim, Tanya, Marcella, and my sissy Andi — thank you for the flowers, food, laughter, and endless love. You bless me more than you’ll ever know. 💐🥰.

Thank you Rachel and PJ for honoring me at Del Campo Jr Cougars cheer/football… made me cry!!🥰🥰

This new chemo gave me a rash (because apparently I like bonus challenges 😂), but it’s finally clearing up — just in time for today’s infusion. God sure has a sense of humor!

It’s been a hard month, but never once did I doubt that God has me in His healing arms. 🙏 His plan is always greater than mine — and I’m trusting Him every step of the way. 💛

🍋✨ Lemonade Crew Update! ✨🍋

Infusion #12 is officially checked off the list!! 🙌 And today marks the last day of my current chemo “cocktail.” On Sept 16th, I start a brand-new one. They say it’s tougher… but I say thank You, Lord—because if it’s stronger, that just means it’s working harder at kicking cancer’s hiney! 💪🍋

This new round is every 3 weeks—perfect timing for our annual Carmel trip to Mission Ranch to celebrate my BIG 6-0!! (I know, I know—you all thought I was in my 40’s, right? 😭😂). If I’m up for it, we’ll also road-trip to San Diego for Jay & Pete’s birthdays, golf at Torrey Pines, and hugs with Kaila & Taylor. 🙏

This week had a hiccup—my port failed. 😬 But God wasn’t surprised, and He gave me an amazing team! They removed and replaced it within days, and it worked perfectly today. I’m sore, but so grateful. God is good!

Fatigue hit harder this week, along with tummy trouble—but my doctor says that should improve with the next round. I’m giving it to Him—He’s got me! ✝️

Special shoutout to my sweet sis-in-law, Sandy Van Dyck—thank you for the lemon socks, hug stone, and rocking that lemon cap. You made me smile so big. 💛

And oh my heart… my crew (Shelley, Martha, Gisele, Lizette & Carrie!) wearing their Lemonade shirts brings me to tears every time. To know you’re out there—working, traveling, running, gardening, laughing—and thinking of me is the best gift. 🥹

Family time = blessings! Kaila visited (short but sweet) 💕, we celebrated Landon turning FIVE 🎉, I got hugs from Hailee, and recharged with my faithful church buddy Zach. Georgia, Peggy, Melanie & Marcella—you fill me up! 💕

Coming up: Breast MRI on Sept 11th. Please pray we see God’s healing hands all over it. 🙏

Through it all—faith, love, & laughter carry me. I love you all more than words can say!

🍋✨ Lemonade Crew Update!! ✨🍋

Chemo #10 is in the books!! 🙌 It was a long one (4 hours – Keytruda day), but infusion went smoothly and that’s a WIN! Last week brought fatigue + tummy issues, but that just means chemo is WORKING! 💪💛

Praise God 🙏 — my surgeon, Dr. Abidi, couldn’t feel any of the tumors that were once so obvious! She’s optimistic I may only need a lumpectomy + radiation (possibly more chemo after). Plans can shift once chemo wraps, but for now… God’s got this. ✝️

📅 The Road Ahead:
1️⃣ Finish chemo (almost there!)
2️⃣ MRI 9/11 + PET scan
3️⃣ Follow-up MRI after last chemo
4️⃣ Surgery 4–6 weeks later (lumpectomy vs mastectomy depends on MRI results)
5️⃣ Radiation + possibly more chemo

Day 9 ✅ and feeling BLESSED! 🙌 Barely any nausea or fatigue this week (praise God!!). They’re watching my thyroid + blood counts, but just part of the journey. God’s got me! 💛🙏

🍋🍋 Lemonade Crew Update! 🍋🍋

Chemo Day 8 – Cycle 3 of 17! 🙌

This past week had a few bumps in the road—chemo brain, tummy troubles, and some fatigue—but nothing I can’t handle because I know every bit of this means the medicine is working! 💪 God’s got me, and I’m trusting His plan every step of the way.

I’m so thankful for the joy, laughter, and love that my friends have poured into me this week! 💛

✨ Lambie – Dinner was amazing, but your company was even better! Can’t wait to start our walks and soak in more of those heart-to-heart talks!

✨ Toy – Lunch with you was such a blessing! Your grandbaby stories? Absolutely priceless. Let’s make another date soon!

✨ Pete, Melanie & Taylor – Thank you for a wonderful evening! Your gift was adorable, and my lemon bomb is officially my new favorite thing! 🍋💛

✨ Sheri – You made my day driving all the way from Woodland to see me! The candle’s scent is so comforting—it’s right by my bed, reminding me of you every night.

🍋 Lemonade Crew Update – Cycle 1, Day 4 🍋

Chemo went smoothly this week, and praise God—my port is finally settling in! The meds helped with the nausea, and I actually felt amazing after treatment. No major side effects so far! 🙌

Hair loss has kicked in (big time), but that just means the chemo is doing its job! God is so good.

Wig update: I tried on some fun styles—blonde, redhead, brunette—and fell in love with a few! One is backordered (of course 😂), but I’ll be sharing a preview soon! 💁‍♀️

And to my Lemonade Crew—seeing you wear your shirts out and about seriously makes my day. Whether you’re working, out having fun, or just thinking of me… I feel it. I love you all more than words can say. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 💛
