I moved from Missisippi and set roots here in Sacramento in 1978. Together we have a daughter, Meghan. Years later, Meghan married and our small family grew to include our son-in-law, Mike, and two fun grandchildren, Jedidiah and Lilyanne. Being a boy from Mississippi, I grew up in the South and eventually joined the US Air Force for over eight years. During my tour of duty I had the good fortune
to see the world. I was stationed in New Zealand, Bangkok, Thailand and Beale AFB, CA. At Beale I was fortunate enough to work on the Avionics for the SR-71. After exiting the USAF, I went to Christchurch, New Zealand and worked with onboard avionics for Air New Zealand's Boeing aircraft for three years. Upon Nick’s return to California he attended American River College and Sacramento State University under the GI Bill. During this time he went to work for Datagraphix (General Dynamics) as an Electronics Field Service Technician. Datagraphix became Anacomp where I advanced to the title of a Lead Engineer. Later Anacomp became Decision One and I was promoted to a Regional Manager for the California, Hawaii, and Alaska territory. I have also been active in my community. I have served on the Board of Directors for Fair Oaks Dolphins Swim Team and Fair Oaks Soccer Organization. I also had the pleasure of working with the San Juan School District Budget Advisory Committee. So after 35 years, I decided to "retire." By "retire" I mean, that's how I came to work with Cook Realty! Excellence in customer service has always been one of my driving forces. After investigating other agencies, I decided that Cook’s commitment to customer service would be not only a great fit, but the BEST fit. Cook Realty’s team spirit, commitment to their clients and after-sale follow-up were just a few of the reasons I had to choose Cook.
