The Leasing Office will be closed on September 7th for Labor Day. We will reopen Tuesday, September 8th, at 9:00 am, with normal open office hours until 5:30 pm. Have a great holiday weekend!

Sustainability Tips
Here are a few great tips to be a better friend to the environment. Reducing your carbon footprint can even save you some money!

1. Unplug your electronics when not in use
Many appliances consume energy even when you’re not using them. This is called “phantom load,” and it can cost you $100 or more per year. Prevent it by directly unplugging electronics or by plugging items into a surge protector/power strip and turning the whole strip off when you leave a room. Be sure not to unplug your refrigerator, even if it’s empty and you’re planning to be away, as doing so can create damage to this appliance.

2. Adjust your thermostat
Turning up your air conditioner by several degrees can reduce your energy bill, keeping CO2 out of the air and dollars in your wallet. In the winter, putting on a sweater instead of blasting the heat can also save a hefty amount of energy.

3. Alter your driving habits
Stop idling: If you are parked or stuck in a gridlocked traffic jam, turn your car off.
Accelerate gently: Hard acceleration just takes you to the gas station faster.
Reduce your speed: Think about how much more energy it takes to run than walk. Now think about how much more gas your car uses at 70 mph than at 55 mph.

4. Green-clean your clothes
Greening your laundry is as easy as hitting the cold water button to save money and electricity!

5. Eat lower on the food chain
Significant resources are needed to produce animal products for food compared to plant-based foods. Consider having a Meat Free Monday or reduce animal proteins in your diet overall, which is good for the planet and your health!

6. Rethink Your Waste
Your trash really is someone else’s treasure. Join a buy nothing group to swap out clothes or household items you no longer use. Or donate these items to a group in need!

☀️🏊 Pool days are the best days! 🌊😎
We love seeing our residents enjoying the pools and the spa at Delta Pointe this season! To keep the pool areas safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone, please remember our community pool rules:
🕘 Pool Hours: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM daily
🏊 Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using the pool or spa.
👫 Swimming alone is not recommended.
🎉 Residents may bring up to 2 guests per apartment to enjoy the pool area.
🍕🚫 Please leave all food, alcoholic beverages, and breakable glass items outside the pool area.
🚭 The pool area is a smoke-free and vape-free zone.
By following these simple guidelines, we can ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience all season long. Residents who do not follow pool rules may lose access to the pool area.
