Fremont Park Bloom 🌺✨Created through the Women in Placemaking initiative led by Midtown Association, CADA Apartments, and the City of Sacramento, Government, Fremont Park Bloom transforms Fremont Park into an immersive public art experience featuring illuminated oversized poppies designed by Atlas Lab and artist Gina Rossi.

One of the most popular activations throughout the installation is Picnic in the Poppies, taking place every Wednesday evening through June 10. The weekly series brings live music, family-friendly programming, and curated picnic offerings from nearby Midtown restaurants including Frog & Slim, Mezcal Grill, and Maydoon.

The experience also connects with Fresh Air: Midtown Parks presented by CADA, bringing free outdoor yoga to Fremont Park every Tuesday + Thursday from 6–7 PM through September as part of a broader effort to activate Midtown parks through wellness, art, and community programming. 🧘‍♀️🧺
