To everyone who thinks real estate agents simply “make easy money” — this is for you. 🏡
You call us after 9 PM, before 7 AM, on weekends, and even on holidays… and we still answer while spending time with our families, having dinner, or putting our children to bed.
Real estate agents run full-time businesses with:
• No guaranteed income
• No benefits
• No paid vacations
• No job security
Yet we still show up every single day.
We spend countless hours:
✔ Searching for homes
✔ Verifying property details
✔ Booking appointments
✔ Showing properties
✔ Negotiating deals
✔ Coordinating with lenders, lawyers, inspectors, appraisers, and other agents
Sometimes we show 10, 15, even 30 homes before a client decides what they truly want. We drive hundreds of miles, cover marketing, staging, photography, advertising, insurance, licensing, fuel, and many other expenses — often without earning a single dollar unless the deal closes.
For sellers, agents may invest weeks or months into a listing, sometimes at unrealistic prices because the seller “wants to try.” If the home doesn’t sell, the seller can move on to another agent while the original agent is left with the time, effort, and expenses invested.
At the same time, many people ask agents to lower commissions while still expecting full service and complete dedication — something rarely asked of other professionals after the work is done.
And to fellow realtors: let’s respect each other’s work. False promises and undermining other agents only damage the integrity of our industry.
Before judging a realtor’s commission, remember:
Behind every transaction is a person working long hours, taking financial risks, sacrificing personal time, and doing everything possible to help their clients succeed.
To every loyal client who has trusted and supported me from the beginning — thank you. Your loyalty means more than words can express, and I truly appreciate each and every one of you. ❤️
God bless you all 🙏
