I moved to Florida when I was ten years old, back in 1975. This state has been my home for fifty years.
I spent the first chapter of my career on the water. I'm a 100-Ton USCG Master Merchant Marine Captain, and in 1992 I pioneered winch-boat parasailing on Fort Myers Beach and Panama City Beach. I built Great Adventure Watersports and Sky Pirate Parasail into one of the largest watersports operations in the country.
After that, I founded SweepMan Environmental, a site prep and an environmental compliance company that worked directly on job sites for some of Florida's biggest builders and developers. Those relationships I built on the ground with national builders became the foundation of everything I do in real estate today.
Real estate was the perfect business to pull my entire background together. The early days were brutal until I learned the business and figured out how to put my life experiences to work.
I'm a licensed Realtor and land broker with SunState Land Group. I work directly with builders and developers like DR Horton, Lennar, Maronda Homes, and David Weekley Homes across three Florida markets. I also help everyday buyers and sellers across Greater Tampa Bay.
What I love most about working with buyers is getting them out of their own way. I always tell people to start at the best case scenario. If you had a magic wand and the perfect home appeared, let's start right there.
That becomes your ground zero and we work outward until we find one you love. It is the quickest way to get people more than they ever thought they would get.
With sellers, I keep it mechanical and factual. We have the market data and their confidence in me, and that gets their property sold at maximum value.
To me, the best moments in this business are getting deals done that everyone else said were impossible and have the greatest impact on people’s lives.
