This just about sums up my job…
It’s a crazy roller coaster, every day so different, we meet the nicest people and of course, see beautiful homes 😊👍

SO…YOU WANT TO BE A REALTOR

There is a lot of talk in the news about real estate agent commissions. They LOVE what they do and they do it because they LOVE helping people but there is almost always a huge misconception on what they do and how they get paid. It's not a secret so here ya go...😊

The average FULL TIME REALTOR’s earnings last year was $31,900 @ 40+ hours a week. (Notice I wrote full time 40+ hours not 0-20 hours a week) which is well below the living wage. As a REALTOR they do not get paid a hourly wage or salary and they
only get paid if they sell a home and it closes. They can only get paid by broker to broker. As an agent you could work with someone days, weeks, months, or years with no guarantee of a sale ever.

Essentially they wake up each day unemployed going on Job Interviews and they deal with constant rejection. They dedicate time away from family, use our time, gas, pay for babysitters, miss dinner and weekends and rarely take vacations. They are on 24/7! You constantly need to be on, or you could miss an opportunity. Once they do close a home, half goes to the other persons agent from the remaining half. They have lots of upfront expenses that must be paid out before they even get paid:

Broker Splits and Fees
Office rent and utilities
MLS Fees
NAR Fees
Local Association Fees
E&O Business Insurance
Extended Auto Insurance
Self-Employment Tax
State Licensing Fees
Advertising Fees
Showing Service Fees
Website Fees
Assistant's Salaries
Showing partners
Transaction coordinator
Yard Signs
Photographers
Videographers
Office Supplies
Business Cards
Property Flyers
Electronic Lockboxes
Continued RE Education
Legal Fees
Gas
Income taxes are not taken out so they have to put that aside around 25-30%.

Don’t forget health insurance if you don’t have a spouse who provides it.

As a listing agent they have lots of tasks far more than just selling a home.

Money saved is money earned….😎
As I was waiting in line behind an older gentleman at Wendy's recently,I heard him ask for his senior discount. The girl at the register apologized and charged him less. When I asked the man what the discount was, he told me that seniors over age 55 ...get 10% off everything on the menu, every day. (But you need to ASK for your discount.)

Being of 'that' age myself, I figured I might as well ask for the discount too.
this incident prompted me to do some research, and I came across a list of restaurants, supermarkets, department stores, travel deals and other types of offers giving various discounts with different age requirements. I was actually surprised to see how many there are and howsome of them start at the young age of 50 .
This list may not only be useful for you, but for your friends and family too.

Dunkin Donuts gives free coffee to people over 55 .
If you're paying for a cup every day, you might want to start getting it for FREE.

YOU must ASK for your discount !

North Pinellas county…. ATTENTION ALL BUISNESS OWNERS!! I belong to a networking organization that has closed $20.6 Billion globally in the last 12 months alone and we’re looking for a variety of other local businesses to refer business to and share a piece of the pie.

Our group is comprised of passionate and successful business professionals from diverse industries who come together to foster meaningful relationships and help each other grow. I believe your business would benefit greatly by becoming a part of our network.

I wanted to mention a couple key benefits my fellow business owners and I enjoy:
1. Quality Referrals: As a part of the group, you'll gain access to a dynamic network of individuals who are genuinely interested in supporting each other's businesses. We actively refer our members to our own clients, friends, and family, expanding your reach beyond traditional advertising methods.
2. Collaboration Opportunities: Our networking events provide a platform for collaboration and strategic partnerships. This allows you to connect with like-minded professionals, opening doors to potential joint ventures, cross-promotion, and shared resources.

I would love to have you attend our meeting as my guest to tell us about your business and meet the business owners looking to refer business to you. Our next meeting will be at 7:30 am on Thursday morning at:
409 S Old Coachman Rd Clearwater fl 33765

If you were looking to expand your business and cut down on your marketing costs this is the place to be. 👍

Call or text me to ask any questions or to reserve your seat for next weeks meeting.

Visiting all 50 states was on my bucket list, but studies show that out of 50 states, 8 is the average number most people have visited. Sadly, many never leave the state in which they were born. Put an X by all the states you have been to. Put a XX where you have lived. Passing through an airport counts--but flying over doesn't. The average is 8 for Americans.
