An oceanfront Hamptons mansion featured in HBO’s “Succession” sold for $59 million in an off-market deal.

The sprawling property at 115 Beach Lane in Wainscott is the Hamptons’ second-highest sale so far this year, succeeded by a $72 million deal that closed last month.

The 11,000-square-foot property served as the home of fictional billionaire Josh Aaronson in the HBO drama’s third season. And the manse is just as lavish in real life.

The number of homes sales above $10 million on Long Island’s East End has surged to unprecedented levels, even topping the area’s pandemic boom. The uptick comes even as Florida and other locales have replaced New York City as a primary home for many billionaires.

“The Hamptons is, for lack of a better term, kicking ass at the very high end of the market,” said real estate appraiser Jonathan Miller of Miller Samuel.
