Last winter, we were able to purchase bulk salt locally for approximately $80 per ton. Due to current supply shortages, salt has become increasingly difficult to source. Just last week, we secured the remaining available bulk salt from our supplier at $125 per ton. As of today, that same supplier’s price has increased to $203 per ton.

Unfortunately, with no immediate way to offset these unexpected increases, we must adjust our pricing accordingly. This decision was not made lightly, and we remain committed to providing dependable, high-quality service.

Please know that we are actively working to source bulk salt from alternative suppliers at more reasonable pricing and will make adjustments if conditions improve. We truly appreciate your understanding, continued support, and trust in us.

Over the last 20 years we've had the amazing opportunity to service customers throughout Saginaw County. We take great pride in our work. We have built amazing relationships with friends, family and new customers alike.

As we begin 2026 we have seen an overwhelming increase in the number of past due accounts from 2025. We have contacted customers several times with no response. All payments are due upon receipt of invoice. They have been for several years.

With great caution, we have decided to suspend accounts exceeding 30 days past due. These customers WILL experience a temporary pause in services until payment arrangements are made.
