🚨 Mortgage Rate Update 🚨👇
The streak continues!!! 10 weeks in a row of mortgage rate declines. 🤯
What a way to start the new year! 🥳
Rates have come down nearly 1.5% from the highs in October and are squarely in the 6’s. 👍
That means with discount points (fees paid by the buyer or seller to get a lower interest rate) you can get into the 5’s which unlocks a lot of opportunity for the housing market. 🏘️
We had a monster start to the year in 2023 and we’ll see if we get a repeat this year. 📈
I’m betting we do! 😁
This won’t continue indefinitely, though. 😲
I expect we’ll see some counterbalancing in the coming weeks as rates take a breather from their decline. 🔮
