We got the process off the ground months before they were really ready to dive in, which gave them a good baseline for what to expect.

As it turns out, the house they ended up in fell into place through a family friend. We talked numbers so they felt good about the price in comparison to what the home offers and what it needs.

I feel lucky to have been able to provide them the right guidance in all aspects of the process and trusted people around them to make it smooth and easy.

Stopped by Knight Club in Elburn to check it out and tried one of their protein shakes, solid choice!

They’ve got shakes, teas, refreshers, and you can order ahead if you’re on the go. If you’re in the area, it’s worth stopping in.

Hidden gem in downtown St. Charles. 📚☕

Town House Books & Café is tucked inside a historic 1853 Greek Revival home and is one of those places you’ll want to come back to. Grab lunch, browse the independent bookstore, then unwind on the hidden courtyard patio behind the café.

I tried the sandwich and salad combo and ended with the peach cobbler crumble, both were worth it. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with plenty of character, add this one to your list!
