Today is a very bittersweet day for all of us at the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley. Today is Maddi Seavyโs last day with us, and while we are incredibly happy and excited to see her take the next step in her career as the Manager at Centre Market, saying goodbye is definitely not easy.
For the past six years, Maddi has been such an important part of the United Way family. During her time here, she has poured her heart into so many of the programs and events that make a difference in our community, from leading Lace Up for Kids, Allocations, coordinating Day of Caring, and so many other projects, programs and events behind the scenes. She has touched countless lives through her work, and her impact on our organization and the people we serve will be felt long after she leaves.
One of the most special things about having Maddi with us for six years has been getting to watch her grow, both personally and professionally. We have watched her gain confidence, take on new challenges, become a leader, and truly find her place in the nonprofit world. We couldn't be prouder of the woman and professional she has become.
They say, โCoworkers may start as strangers, become friends, and eventually become family.โ That couldnโt be more true for Maddi. She has become so much more than a coworker to us. She is part of our United Way family, and we are incredibly grateful for every laugh, every challenge, every accomplishment, and every memory we have shared over these past six years.
Maddi, while we are going to miss you more than you know, we are so excited to see what this next chapter holds for you. Centre Market is incredibly lucky to have you, and we know you are going to do amazing things. Your United Way family will always be cheering you on!
Congratulations on your new adventure, Maddi! We love you, we are proud of you, and we will miss you dearly! ๐
