If you’ve ever spent a summer in Southern Utah, you know the real challenge isn’t finding something to do… it’s finding ways to stay cool while still getting out of the house. ☀️😅
We spent the day checking out a few of our favorite local spots, and honestly, this is exactly why we love living here.
We started at Desert Color because nothing beats cooling off in the lagoon on a hot afternoon. It still feels like you’re on vacation without leaving town. After that, we headed over to Pecan Valley for lunch. Great food, plenty of shade, and one of those places that always feels relaxed.
No summer outing is complete without ice cream, so we made a stop at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a sweet treat before dinner at Painted Pony. If you’re looking for a date night or celebrating something special, it’s hard to beat that patio and the food is always worth it.
To finish the day, we let the kids burn off the rest of their energy at House of Jump. Air conditioning, happy kids, and a little peace and quiet for the parents? We’ll take that every time.
One of my favorite parts about being a local Realtor is getting to share more than just houses. I get to share the places that become part of everyday life. When people move here, they’re not just choosing a home. They’re choosing weekends like this, favorite restaurants, places their kids can’t wait to visit, and a community that makes even the hottest summer days pretty fun.
If you’ve been thinking about making Southern Utah home, I’d love to help you find the neighborhood that fits your lifestyle.
