The Buffalo National River is known as an International Dark Sky Park! The 5th Annual Dark Sky Festival is Friday & Saturday 2-3 Oct at Bear Creek Log Cabins near Marshall! Arkansas Natural Sky Association

Grinder’s Ferry, just upstream from the Buffalo National River Bridge on US 65, is about a 5 minute drive away from our ranch. This is a fun past time for the locals and a few adventurous visitors. The river from Tyler Bend to Harriet is at the lower end of ample to float at the moment thanks to the recent rains. We also have the Perseid Meteor Shower putting on a display! We are a dark sky accommodation…you don’t want to miss this ✨💫💦
