" Starting Jan. 26, three consecutive weekend closures of the Shands Bridge are planned to allow for grating replacement. Bridge closures are planned during the following periods, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting:

Friday, Jan. 26 at 9 p.m. through Monday, Jan. 29 at 4 a.m.
Friday, Feb. 2 at 9 p.m. through Monday, Feb. 5 at 4 a.m.
Friday, Feb. 9 at 9 p.m. through Monday, Feb. 12 at 4 a.m. (if necessary)
During the closures, traffic will detour via State Road 13, I-295 and U.S. 17 as shown in the graphic below. State Road 16 on either side of the bridge will remain open to local traffic only.
