Prices at the grocery store & at the pump have only been going up. So why are fewer people using a program designed to make buying groceries easier?

Since the passing of H.R.1. over a year ago, changes to SNAP (and fear and confusion around those changes) have increased the burden oF maintaining and applying for benefits—or qualifying at all.

When fewer people are using SNAP, it doesn't just affect the individuals and families who have less food to put on the table. It impacts our whole community.

We’re always happy to hear when a homeowner has a positive experience with our NEK Home Repair Program.

From the initial application to completing the project, our team works with eligible homeowners to help make important health and safety repairs possible.

The NEK Home Repair Program provides low-interest loans and grants to eligible homeowners in Caledonia, Orleans, and Essex Counties for repairs such as heating systems, roofs, weatherization, plumbing, electrical work, structural repairs, and more.
