There’s a moment in every project where something feels like a stretch… and that’s usually where the magic is.

As designers, part of our role is gently guiding you just beyond your comfort zone—because that’s often where a home begins to feel truly special, layered, and personal. Not trendy. Not safe. But yours in a way that feels collected and elevated.

This wallpaper was one of those moments.

Someone on our team (we’ll keep that name anonymous 😉) wasn’t quite sure at first… but I could see it instantly. The scale, the movement, the richness against the cabinetry… it brought the entire space to life in a way nothing else could.

We love hearing from you, whether it’s a design question or something more personal!

From paint colors and timelines to the little details that make a house truly feel like home, your questions are always coming in, and we’re always happy to share.

So today we’re answering three questions we get asked all the time:

✨ When should we bring a designer into a renovation or new build?
The sooner, the better. Being involved early allows us to help shape the overall vision, guide key decisions, and ensure everything feels cohesive from the beginning, often saving time and costly changes along the way.

✨ How would you describe your design style?
Timeless and layered. We’re drawn to classic architecture, rich materials, beautiful textures, and color that adds depth to a space. We also love incorporating antiques because they bring character and history into a home. Mixing old with new creates a collected feeling that gives a space warmth and soul.

✨ Where do you source furniture and decor?
From a mix of trusted vendors, artisans, and unique sources we’ve built relationships with over the years. We’re always looking for pieces with character, quality craftsmanship, and a sense of history, the kinds of things that make a home feel truly special.
