With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Larry Bentcik, a cherished part of the history and legacy of St. Maries Realty.

Larry was more than a former owner and broker of our company—he was a steward of something that meant so much to him and to our community. We are deeply grateful for the years he devoted to St. Maries Realty and for the foundation he helped build. His dedication, integrity, and love for this community will always be a part of our story.

Larry loved his family, his friends, and the St. Maries community he called home. And if you knew Larry, you likely knew of his love for the mountains of North Idaho and the joy he found riding his mules through them. Our rugged mountains and quiet trails were clearly close to his heart.

His legacy continues here at St. Maries Realty, and we are honored to carry it forward. We are especially grateful to have Larry’s nephew, Ryan Olson, continuing that family connection as one of our hardworking agents today.

As we remember Larry, we do so with gratitude—for his years of service, his love of this place, and the lasting mark he left on St. Maries Realty and the community he loved.
