More tiny spaces that Jamie has to inspect:

When the attic access is in a hall closet turned kitchen pantry...
The first step is contacting the selling agent to ask for permission to move items from the top shelf (inspectors are not supposed to move sellers items). Once permission is granted he has to squeeze past the shelving. 😵‍💫 But he got it done!!!

If you are selling your home, please remember that inspectors need access to the crawl space, attic, and electrical panel. Please keep those areas easily accessible during the selling process! THANK YOU!

We are often asked, “what are the most common deficiencies you see at a home inspections?” This batt style insulation is installed upside down more times than I would like to admit, especially when it says directly on it which way to install it. The paper side should always be facing the heated space or the living space.
