Afternoon Residents,

During the day on 6/4/21 between 12:00p-5:00p Common Good Cleaning will be on-site to refinish the Lobby floor, and 5th floor lobby floor. During this time those two areas will be closed. It is important you use the alley entrance door, and utilize your stairway key to enter the building during this time slot. The aim is to have the floors done by 5:00pm, and walkable by 6pm.

My apologies for the late date change notice, and reach out if you have any questions!

Regards,

Please be advised that the front door to the Fitzgerald building will be closed to accommodate the concrete pouring for the sidewalk beginning Monday morning, February 22 at 7am and will remain closed through Saturday or Sunday (February 28th).

All residents will be able to exit and enter through the alley door on the south end of the building. You will need a stairway key to enter the building through this alley door. Please contact Ian Hoxworth at [email protected] if you need a key ($5 each) to make arrangements.
USPS mail, as well as Fedex, UPS, and Prime deliveries will be suspended during this time. Please plan your deliveries accordingly. Amazon has the option to deliver to a neighborhood Hub Locker location. FedEx and UPS have the option to hold at their facilities and/or designate a pickup location.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

Warm Regards,

Hello Fitzgerald Residents and Owners,
In about two weeks, the front door to the Fitzgerald condos will be inaccessible for roughly 6 days due to the sidewalk project. The exact date of the closure will be sent in another email about one week before the closure.
In preparation for that closure, a keyed access lock has been added to the alley door (see attached photos via the link at the bottom of this email). This alley door will be the only point of exit or entry to the building. The key that fits the Fitz stairway doors will also fit this alley door. Make sure that you have a functioning stairway/alley door key in your possession now, so that you are not locked out of the building when the front access is closed.
In addition, USPS mail delivery will be held during those 6 days. FedEx, UPS and Amazon will not have access to make deliveries during those 6 days, so plan your deliveries accordingly. Amazon has the option to deliver to a neighborhood Hub Locker location. FedEx and UPS have the option to hold at their facilities and/or designate a pickup location.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

Hello Fitzgerald Residents,

There was an eviction performed today at the building. Due to this, we wanted to send out a reminder on some basic security measures, some of which have increased importance recently.

1. Please do not hold the door for others. We all want to be neighborly, but this can put building security at risk as all that should be in the building should have their own access

2. Please make sure the door closes behind you (it has been known to catch at times and will be addressed as part of the sidewalk project)

3. Please meet guests and deliveries in the lobby whenever possible and pick up packages in a timely manner. With the holiday season upon us package volumes have been high. Consider designating another pickup location if you will not be able to retrieve. Many businesses in the area are designated pickup locations. There have also been a report or two of deliveries being missed due to the construction.

Hello Fitzgerald Residents,

There have been some issues with cigarette smoke impacting neighboring units recently .We believe this is due to shared ventilation.

Due to this the Association requests that there be no smoking in bathrooms as this may spread to other units due to the shared vents.

Warm Regards,

Please note that the sidewalk reconstruction project has been pushed to an anticipated start date of 10/5/2020. The tentative schedule is to have barricades delivered Monday 10/5, city hooding meters, lighting removal and equipment mobilization on 10/6, demolition beginning 10/7.
The project should be completed in 6-8 weeks.
Work will be done between 7am and 6pm daily, but possibly as late as 10 pm on occasion (within Saint Paul ordinance)
Access to the front and rear doors will always be available throughout the project.
Barricades will be set up along Wabasha and Exchange that will eliminate the street parking next to the Fitzgerald for the duration of the project.
In an unrelated project, the city of St. Paul may also be repaving Exchange street in October as well.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as this project is completed.

Warm Regards,

Hello Fitzgerald Residents,

Below is a notice from Allied Parking regarding the ramp:
We have heard about the protest planned later today that would originate at Mears Park and then march to the Capitol. In light of what happened yesterday and today, we are advising if your vehicle is parked in the lot that it be moved to the top of the ramp and if possible temporary out of the ramp.

This is just a pre-caution, but we wanted to make sure you and other parkers were aware of the current planned protest and the possibility of civil disobeinse during or after.

We are putting are gates up and will be monitoring the situation as it happens.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

John Michalko
