I love highlighting local winter experiences that make our community feel extra special, and the Ice Sculptures at the Minneapolis Institute of Art are a perfect example. From January 8 through January 15, you can explore beautiful ice sculptures inspired by works from the MIA collection, displayed right in the courtyard. After strolling through the outdoor art, you can head inside to warm up and enjoy a self-guided tour of the original pieces. It is a wonderful way to embrace winter while supporting art, culture, and everything that makes our area such a great place to call home.

I am keeping a close eye on the latest numbers from Minneapolis Area Realtors, and this week’s update offers valuable insight into our market. Homes priced between $300,000 and $400,000 continue to lead the way, making up 27.1 percent of all showings. I am also seeing steady interest in the luxury bracket, with listings over $1 million representing 2.9 percent of total showings.

These trends give my buyers and sellers a strong advantage as we plan the next steps in their real estate journey.
