So now that we are in a buyer market season what should sellers know to be competitive? Well, it is not just price. First deep clean and declutter. Second, do cosmetic touch-ups such as fixing paint scuffs and carpet stains. Third, stage, and make sure you have the house photographed by a real estate photographer. Lastly, price were comparable homes that sold in multiple offers last year at this time started their list price not listing for what they sold for.

The market is creeping more and more in favor of sellers. However, the Market Meter is much more in line with more normal market conditions vs the last 4 years. This means that it is much less likely to see a majority of homes go into heavy multiple offers and sell for way over askjng price.
