Being a Realtor and serving my clients doesn’t exactly come with “off” days… but a few weeks ago, I made it happen.
Took a quick weekend trip to Saugatuck, MI and let’s just say it provided exactly the downtime and fun that I needed. Saugatuck is a popular summer destination. However we managed to whoop it up in the off-season.
-Yoga
-Enjoyed a performance of the Holland Chorale where my bestie, sister in law, my home design consultant and stager, Liana Allison is a member contributing her beautiful voice
-Visited The Cottage. Not the Heated Rivalry Cottage but it still is an awesome bar in Dougals, MI
-Hempy Kayboard Series with Hyemin Kim performing at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts
-Drag Queen Bingo at The Dunes Resort - I won in the coverall!
-My brother-in-law Tom who put up with all of our shenanigans
-Brought several Holland/Delft treasures from my mother to Liana
-Acquired, courtesy of my designer/personal spender for all things home, Liana again, beautiful Morrocan trim boards that will be installed in my home
-The cash from my BINGO winnings!!
And while I may have been away for a few days, my clients were never far from my mind.
Calls were answered, details handled, and everything kept moving. I even wrote up an offer.
I believe in having a business I love as well as a life I love.
Showing up fully for my clients and making space for fun with family and friends.
I am back to phone calls, texts and showings...and planning the next getaway.
