The Creative Enterprise Zone and Saint Anthony Park Community Council will co-host the Saint Paul Citywide Spring Cleanup at the corner of Raymond Ave and Territorial Road (2378 W Territorial Rd) from 9:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 23. Stop by the CEZ tent to pick up supplies (gloves and bags) before heading out to pick up litter in our neighborhoods.

Volunteers are needed. Participating is easy! Just pre-register for our Raymond & Territorial location on the city's website at https://cerv.is/0177x106 or register the day of on-site. Together we can make a huge difference.

This family-friendly, community-focused event brings together neighbors and friends to clean up our parks and neighborhoods. Each year, volunteers gather across Saint Paul at multiple cleanup sites to pick up litter that has recently become uncovered by melting snow.

Trash drop points: Volunteers are able to drop their trash in three different places: next to any city garbage can in a Saint Paul park, at their own homes, or at designated drop sites along the street. Site hosts will be give maps of drop sites that are along the streets. The city will also have a map on the website.

Weather: This event may be postponed or canceled if there is inclement or severe weather. Watch for notifications.

Join your neighbors, get to know your community, and enjoy cleaner parks and streets this summer. We hope to see you there!

Creative Enterprise Zone Winter & Holiday Survival (Gift-Giving) Guide:

"While Ben Franklin may have declared death and taxes as life’s two certainties, any person living in Minnesota knows two other things seem inevitable at the close of a calendar year — cold weather and holiday/family-fueled gatherings (and/or guilt.)

Tackle either or both with a plan of action, or at least a couple of options on reserve, to keep spirits high and harmonious during this darker-day season.

Start with our list of the Top 10 Ways to Celebrate in the CEZ now and into the New Year. Create new and memorable traditions that celebrate and honor our unique creative community in Saint Paul.

3. EAT!
• – Rustic, seasonal and homestyle Italian for dine-in and curbside pickup, and only 6 more months before their outdoor patio season is back! https://www.caffebiaggio.com/

• Egg and I – Serving breakfast and lunch for over 30 years, their Kamikaze toppings (bananas, blueberries, pecans) make mornings extra special at 2550 University Ave W. http://www.eggandimn.com/

• – Holistic health, whole-foods cooking and a love of street food brought crispy falafel and so much more to 791 Raymond Ave. Dine-in or take-out, feed your family or cater your next event. https://foxyfalafel.com/

• – With the “best soup in town,” HPC offers organic, locally grown, healthful and minimally packaged foods and community connection at 928 Raymond Ave. https://hampdencoop.com

• Key’s Cafe – This family-operated original, their first in 1973, features a striking historic wood interior and their signature baked goods. Open for breakfast and lunch and featuring recipes “you grew up with” at 767 Raymond Ave. https://keyscafe.com

2. STAY AWAKE!

Whether you drink in or take your beans on-the-go, these coffee and beverage purveyors will keep you roasted, toasty, and caffeinated when the L-tryptophan or cold weather seeps in:

• Workhorse Coffee Bar – Steps from the Raymond and University intersection, this craft coffee shop also offers a light menu and Smallest Museum in St Paul (SMSP) at 2399 University Ave W. https://www.workhorsecoffee.com/ "

Dogwood’s dual roasteries in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Winnipeg, Manitoba are unified by their indigenous namesake shrubbery. But that’s not the only underlying force. Its "Coffee for Others" mantra captures this roaster's guiding people-first principle as it spreads the enjoyment of coffee acr...
