And just like that… 7th grade.
The last couple of years have brought more change to our lives than I ever could have imagined, and through it all, I have watched Louie take so much of it in stride. He has adapted, grown, and shown a resilience far beyond his years.
He is funny, kind-hearted, curious, independent, and unapologetically himself. He has a huge heart, and somehow always knows when his mom needs an extra hug, a laugh, or just someone by her side. In so many ways, we’ve grown through these last few years together, and I couldn’t be prouder of the young man he is becoming.
He is, without question, the most important man in my life, and being his mom is one of the greatest privileges of mine.
Louie, I hope 7th grade at Faithful Shepherd brings you great friends, teachers who believe in you, lots of laughter, new adventures, and even more confidence in the incredible person you are becoming.
I am so incredibly proud of you. Here’s to 7th grade and whatever this next chapter brings us.
