Women's Advocates, just a couple blocks down from my office on Grand, was the first domestic violence shelter in the nation. They are still largely funded just by donations. Each year, the Edina Realty Grand Ave office gives a good chunk of our Foundation money that is raised through home sale to Women's Advocates.
