Gulfport residents - get a free tree!
🌳 Free Tree Giveaway at Clymer Park! 🌳
The City of Gulfport is hosting a Free Community Tree Program on Saturday, March 21, from 9 – 11 a.m., where residents can pick up a Fringe Tree to plant at home. These beautiful trees bloom in spring with delicate, feathery white flowers, attract pollinators like bees and butterflies, and provide seasonal interest with vibrant fall foliage. Fringe Trees are compact, low-maintenance, and tolerant of heat and coastal conditions, making them perfect for Gulfport’s yards, parks, and streetscapes.
By planting a tree, you’re not only enhancing your property, you’re helping make Gulfport greener, healthier, and more sustainable.
📍 Location: Clymer Park (Greenway)
🪪 Proof of residency required: bring a driver’s license or water bill
For questions, contact the Parks & Facilities Superintendent at 727-893-1092.
