Flood zones vs Evacuation zones

FEMA flood zones and hurricane evacuation zones are different. FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps indicate the likelihood of flooding and are used to determine building and flood insurance requirements. Hurricane evacuation zones are based on storm surge flood risk.
