This month we collected 472 pounds of pet food for the Humane Society of Pinellas now

That brings our grand total to 50,749 pounds donated in honor of Bindi since March 2017.

We lost Bindi on my birthday, March 7, when she was nine, one month shy of ten.

And it hit me this week that we’ve now been collecting pet food in her memory for just as long as we had her in our lives.

Nine years with her.
Nine years carrying her forward.

And if you knew Bindi, you know she would absolutely approve of her name being attached to 50,749 pounds of food!

She always had strong opinions about meals (she hated hers and always wanted what we were eating).

And snacks. And second meals. And everyone else’s snacks.

She was a typical bossy and dramatic potato, as most corgis are, completely convinced she ran the house.

Actually, she did.

Thank you to everyone who donates month after month.

You’ve turned the memory of one stubborn little corgi into a whole lot of kibble, and that feels worth celebrating.

Miss you, pooch. ♥️🐾

February felt short but full.

A little travel.
Valentine’s Day. 
A lot of work.
Always stalking dogs.

Charleston gave us a reset.
Valentine’s was simple and sweet.
Awards day reminded me how much talent is in our office.

There were also the in-between moments, like cold fronts in Florida (while friends back home were buried in Long Island and CT snow), cardinals in the park, and lots of reading.

On to March and birthday season!

I had a meeting with a newly licensed agent earlier this week who asked me what actually accelerates success.

My answer wasn’t complicated.

Come up with a simple plan, just a few ways you consistently stay in touch with people.

For example:
• social media
• handwritten notes
• pop-bys or client touches

Then work the plan.

Not for one day.

Not even for one month.

Give it a full quarter before you assess and adjust.

The biggest mistake I see agents make during transitions is staying in “planning mode” instead of building momentum.

Transitions don’t need perfection.

They need action and consistency.

If you’re in a transition right now, this is your permission to start before everything feels ready.

Last night we were honored to be guests at the Paws for a Cause Gala.

Since losing our beloved corgi, Bindi, in March 2017, we’ve gathered and donated 47,904 pounds of pet food for . What started as a one-time event, a small way to give back, has become one of the most meaningful parts of our lives.

None of it would be possible without our amazing neighbors, friends, and family who continue to show up with kindness month after month.

Even after our neighborhood was hit by two back-to-back storms last year, leaving some displaced by flooding, our neighbors still contributed pet food. We are endlessly grateful for their generosity and hearts.

We’re so thankful for everyone who has helped turn our little act of love for Bindi into something so impactful.

We’d give anything to have her back with us, but we like to say we couldn’t save her so that she could save others. 🐾

We’re so proud to support such an incredible organization that helps pets in need find safety, love, and second chances. Here’s to another 75 years of compassion. 🥂

What my downtime has been looking like lately…

I set a Goodreads goal every year:
2021: 30/30
2022: 35/35
2023: 40/40 (and I just barely squeezed by on that one by reading a super short book on New Year’s Eve)
2024: 41/40 ⭐️

But this year I am in a new role in my real estate career, and I didn’t want to stress myself out, so I’m back to my goal of 30.

So far I’ve read 3 book, the last being You Are a Bada$$ at Making Money, and now I’m working on Gary Vaynerchuk’s Day Trading Attention and The Queen’s Faithful Companion by Eliza Knight.

I like a mix of business/professional development, chick lit, and historic fiction.

Any other book worms out there?

Hey there! If we haven’t had a chance to meet yet, I’m Amy!

And I’m not what you might typically think of when you hear the word manager… I strive to be a little bit different.

I help run the Belleair Coldwell Banker Realty office with our broker, Ron.

It’s my top priority to make sure our agents’ experiences are anything but stressful or cookie cutter.

We are available in the office, or you can reach us by phone or email. We offer classes in the office and virtually. And we always try to do something fun every month (take a look at our February Insider Guide post to see what’s going on for February).

February may be the shortest month, but the need for pet food donations is always big.

Bindi’s Buddies to the rescue!

This month we dropped off 613 pounds of pet food, bringing us to a total of 43,204 pounds donated to since we lost our beloved corgi in March of 2017.

I can’t believe next month will already be 8 years 🥺

But her honor and memory live on, and we couldn’t do it without friends, family, and neighbors like YOU 🫵

Thank you all for your continued support ♥️ 🐾
