The City of Gulfport invites residents to the Free Community Tree Giveaway on Saturday, July 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Clymer Park (Greenway), located at 23rd Avenue South and Beach Boulevard South.

As part of Gulfport’s ongoing Plant a Tree Initiative, residents can receive a free tree to enhance their property, provide shade, support local wildlife, and help grow our community’s tree canopy.

🌿 Available tree species include:
• Gumbo Limbo – A Florida native known for its wind resistance, drought tolerance, and distinctive red bark.
• American Elm – A beautiful shade tree with a graceful canopy that supports birds and other wildlife.
• Sweet Gum – A fast-growing tree valued for its vibrant fall color and ability to thrive in Florida landscapes.

Gulfport residents must provide proof of residency with a driver’s license or water bill to receive a tree. Trees are available while supplies last.
