This was an off market deal that our amazing realtor called us with early on a Saturday morning. She knew this property fit our criteria. It was way under priced, as the property was in probate after the owner died. Being so under priced meant that A LOT of people were bidding on the property. With the help of our - .pro.realtor - we managed to be the highest bidders, by a fraction, and we won the contract for this house 🤞🏼
We’ve put a lot of love into this house & I know we’ve made smarter decisions for both our future buyers & ourselves
We are grateful for every opportunity to learn & grow along the way 🙌🏼

This backsplash is AMAZING & we’re going for it again.

💥 Pro tip: You don’t have to pick out ALL new design elements for each flip project.
➡️ However, be aware of existing architectural design that might ‘clash’ with any tile design you’re considering. (Our Spanish tile bathrooms from the last project wouldn’t have worked well with the design elements of the architecture we’re keeping on this project).

Trust me when I say I looked at ALL of the other tile & I kept coming back to this one. Anyone else obsessed with ?

Pics 2 & 3 show the bathroom tile choices were using & I think it’ll look super sleek, classy & spa like 🧖‍♀️

2020 has been a GROWTH year for us 💪🏼

We are so grateful for what we have accomplished this year & we can’t wait for all of the blessings that 2021 has in store for us.

We went hiking, kayaking, saw a few waterfalls, got to see family ❤️, spent a LOT of time with Monkey & made huge strides personally & professionally through the strong bonds we’re forming within our coaching group.

Where we go, he goes! He’s there for it all!
Hitting the trails 🥾 road trips 🚙 business retreats 📚 plane rides ✈️ and even motorcycle rides 🏍

We adopted Monkey when he was 11 years old - thank you for giving us the most precious gift 🎁🐒

We just want to share our story & hopefully inspire even just one other family to adopt a
Monkey is sweet, gentle, snuggly & super smart.
He was in a breeding/hoarding situation his whole life & was left neglected in a cage 😩 We’re making sure to give him the best years of his life!

Please don’t buy from backyard breeders, puppy mills or puppy shops. There are millions of sweet, loving pets in shelters that need homes. If you’re breed specific, that’s fine!! If you’re patient & work with the shelters, you’ll find the perfect fit for your family! We were pretty specific on size & breed(s). So when we found the perfect pup, we didn’t care that he was 11 years old. He’s our forever puppy at only 5.5 pounds 🤩🐒🤩

🌟This book has been a game changer for us!!🌟

Do you have what it takes to be vulnerable with yourself? Are you able to take a step back & look at your life as a whole in order to understand where your money habits & money relationships have been formed?That’s right - we all have a relationship with money. And for a lot of people, not being able to identify why we formed our may be something that continually sets us back.

If you want to do better, be better, make more money, be fitter- whatever the desire, you MUST be willing to evolve. And evolving means learning, growing, experiencing & changing. It does not mean that you keep doing the same thing & expect a different result.

Listening to books has helped us consume more content than we would be able to consume through just books.

Hi 👋🏼
We started Rentals2Retire on Instagram more than 2 years ago because we wanted to share our FIRE journey with anyone who was interested 🔥
🌟 FIRE = Financial Independence through Real Estate 🌟
Our main strategy is Buy & Hold Rentals. Most of our rentals need a facelift when we buy them & that’s what makes them a good deal 💥
We buy them slightly distressed, we turn them around & make them beautiful HOMES for our clients & we’re able to increase rents to market value since we bought low to begin with. This in turn raises the overall value of the neighborhoods in our beautiful city of St Pete!
We’ve learned that our number one goal is CASHFLOW 💸 - more to come in later posts.
We’ve also discovered along the way that we’re not too shabby at flipping houses - so we do that along the way to help acquire more Buy & Hold Rentals.
All of this while we still hold down our ‘w2’ jobs- don’t worry, there’s a plan to get rid of those eventually 🤪
