My heart is broken today.

Runelle and Jack Bowman were more than business partners to me. More than friends, they were family.

Runelle passed away this weekend. I'm so grateful that I was able to see her and spend time with her, and so grateful for the many, many memories we made together when Jack was alive and after his passing. I'm realizing how many of them were framed by shared meals, whether with our families or in a wonderful local restaurant. (Jack's favorite was always whatever was the most recent. He just loved being around people and knew everyone!)

Here is a much loved photo from one of my every-Friday lunches with Runelle at The Hangar. I will miss those conversations. What I wouldn't give to have just one more.

Saying that there will be a Jack & Runelle sized hole left in my heart seems woefully inadequate.

My sincerest condolences to their family and to others who loved them.

We're winding down the year and the housing market remains surprisingly strong. The low interest rates put into place by the Federal Reserve and the low inventory of homes for sale continue to create a favorable environment for both buyers and sellers. I'm keeping an eye on the situation to watch for changes but for now, it's a win-win. Whether you're considering buying or selling or both, the time may never be better.
