This is one of my favorite neighborhoods in St. Pete for a reason. The lake, the brick streets, the bungalows, and enough coffee, brunch, and dinner within a few blocks that you barely need your car.

The starting point? 608 Kirkwood Terrace N, a 1920s bungalow a few blocks from the water, with all of this under 15 minutes from the front door. Coffee by morning, cocktails by afternoon, sushi by night, all on foot.

The day, start to finish:
☕️ 9:00 am, coffee on the porch, then a stroll or pickleball at Crescent Lake Park (5 minutes away and the best reason to live here)
🥯 11:30 am, brunch at Flatbread & Butter, order the smoked salmon bagel
🌳 1:30 pm, wander the bungalow streets of Historic Uptown
🍹 3:30 pm, a cocktail or mocktail at The Blend Coffee & Cocktails
🍣 6:30 pm, dinner at Hook’s on 9th, then golden hour back at the lake

I put together a free local guide with my favorite spots to eat, sip, and play around the city this season. Think coffee crawls down Central Ave, sunset hangs at the beach, the best patios for a slow lunch, farmers markets, kid-friendly adventures, and a few weekend escapes under two hours away.

Whether you’ve lived here for years or you’re brand new to St. Pete, this is the good stuff I’d text a friend.
