I have to tell on myself with this one.
I was out playing a round of golf a while back.
I teed off, and it was not my finest swing.
The ball never got more than a foot off the ground.
It shot straight out, maybe thirty yards, low and fast.
And right at that moment, a white bird flew across the tee box.
I hit it.
Out of every swing in all my years, that was the one.
At every holiday dinner, someone never fails to bring up that story.
And they always call it the day I finally got a birdie.
I've heard that joke more times than I can count.
And I laugh every single time.
The best rounds are never really about the score.
They are the ones you are still telling years later.

Here's a lesson I learned the hard way out on the water.
I went out on a day fishing cruise.
Packed myself a nice lunch.
And in that lunch, I had a banana.
Now if you have spent any time around fishermen, you already know what's coming.
You never, ever bring a banana on a boat.
It's bad luck. Every fisherman swears by it.
If you are going to pack fruit, you bring an apple.
Well, about halfway through the trip, half the boat was seasick.
And every one of them knew exactly who to blame.
The guy with the banana.
I'm just glad they didn't make me walk the plank.
I still don't know if I believe the superstition.
But I'll tell you this. I haven't packed a banana since.

Hey! Want to get to know me better?

I was born and raised in Coney Island, NY. I went to college in Buffalo, NY and enlisted in the Army in 1967. After my service, I moved to Florida in 1970 and started working as an optician.

From there, I transitioned into marketing medical devices internationally. I spent ten years traveling across Europe, South America, and the Pacific Rim selling surgical room products.

That gave me a lot of perspective to life and also completely transformed how I communicated and negotiated in professional settings.

When I came back to Florida, one of my optical patients happened to be a real estate broker who owned his own company. After talking with him, I decided to make the jump into real estate in 1979. I was fortunate enough to have become the top producer in my office within my first year.

After selling over 3,500 homes over the last 47 years, I can tell you that this business has changed completely since I started.

When I entered the profession, the fax machine with a telephone cradle was the height of technology.

Today, I run a small company with two agents right here in St. Petersburg, and I am completely hooked on using the latest technology and AI to market my clients' homes.

What gives me the most satisfaction is helping people purchase their first home or find their forever home. Guiding them through the entire process and making sure they feel confident every step of the way is my goal and my reward.

When I'm not working, you'll find me out on the golf course or fishing right here in Pinellas County!
