Landlords get mortgages usually carrying a higher interest rate, and they pass that inflated payment onto the tenant.

I just wanted to give everyone an update on our Wildland Fire Academy, and share an email from George Risko, Jr., the training director at the Florida Forest Service, Withlacoochee Training Center.

Unfortunately, we are still unable to lockdown any dates for the academy at the moment due to the remodeling of the dorm facilities at the training center. It looks like the next academy will most likely take place sometime this winter or in 2027. We would also like to give a big thank you to George and the Florida Forest Service for their continued support!

"Good afternoon sir, all is well I hope you're doing the remodel is progressing but we're not going to be able to utilize the facility over the summer and it'll bump into the fall when we have a very packed schedule but maybe I can work something out. Looked at other facilities and that just didn't get anywhere. If we were to try to do this not over the summer what other date range would work? I 100% want to do another academy and I will guarantee we can go back to doing it in the summer of 27 like we have but I will look for an opportunity to do one sooner if it will help. Please let me know. I hope you have a great weekend."
