CEDAR COVE GROUNDBREAKING!

Thrilled to celebrate with Manatee County Commissioners Mike Rahn and Amanda Ballard, as well as Suncoast Partnership to End Homelessness Director Taylor Neighbors, MS. Cedar Cove will provide 80 apartment homes for the hardest working families in SW Manatee County. Among them, 40 will be Homeless. Our amazing partner Community Assisted & Supported Living, Inc. provides supportive services for residents of all ages.

This milestone was made possible through the collaboration and support of Manatee County Government, Work That Matters , Raymond James, JPMorganChase , and Florida Housing Finance Corporation Housing Finance Corporation.

Cedar Cove will be Blue Sky’s 3rd Development centered on Homeless FAMILIES. And it will be our 10th Development with CASL.

Earlier this week, we celebrated the grand opening of The Adderley with the community! This 128-unit apartment house is at the highly visible intersection of Nebraska Avenue and Busch Boulevard. Residents have a HART MetroRapid stop at their front door, with 20-minute headways on weekdays.

Blue Sky was honored to be recognized by Plan Hillsborough (Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission) for our work to bring The Preserve at Sabal Park and Sabal Place to the County. Between the two special developments we are providing 256 apartment homes for working families, some of which have been formerly homeless. We’re thrilled to announce the successful Closing of our NINTH development with our esteemed partner CASL! "Blue Coral Apartments", located in lovely Cape Coral, will feature 72-apartment homes with half set aside for persons with a disabling condition. CASL will provide residents important on-site supportive services.

Thank you to our funding partners - State of Florida, the City of Cape Coral, Lee County, Raymond James Affordable Housing Investments, and Everbank, for their invaluable support and cooperation. Your commitment to affordable housing is helping us provide more families with a place to call home.

Announcing the Grand Opening of Florence Place, a beautiful new affordable housing community in Winter Haven!

Our new residents enjoyed a catered luncheon, music, a raffle, and fun activities for the whole family. Florence Place offers 88 energy-efficient units designed for families, with a mix of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments. Plus, residents can enjoy fantastic amenities like a clubhouse, fitness center, pool, and playground.

Thanks to Mayor Birdsong, Mayor Pro Tem Yates, and Commissioner Mercer for coming out and meeting everyone. Thanks also to Special Friend Rick Baker.
