The penthouse is also the highest-priced condo sale in the entire Tampa Bay area for this year AND has secured its place as the 3rd highest condo sale in Tampa Bay's history. Smith & Associates represented both sides of the landmark transaction.

“The company, which claims it allows homeowners to sell their homes more quickly than through a broker, deceived customers into offering their properties to Opendoor for less than they would have made on the market…”

“Opendoor promised to revolutionize the real estate market but built its business using old-fashioned deception about how much consumers could earn from selling their homes on the platform,” said Samuel Levine, director of the F.T.C.’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. “There is nothing innovative about cheating consumers.”

The Federal Trade Commission accused Opendoor of deceiving customers into offering their properties to the online platform for less than they would have made on the open market.

If you know Trevor you know that he is a visionary; he’s a serial entrepreneur with a flair for being exceptional. When Trevor and Jon tapped me to assist them with the purchase of this land I was curious to learn what direction they were headed. The answer: denser housing.

Turning a medical office into a 7-unit townhome development on 16th street in St Pete’s Woodlawn neighborhood speaks to their understanding of what the community is in need of. Trevor and Jon believe developing this denser housing along the city’s commercial corridors can help alleviate St. Pete’s housing shortage and I couldn’t agree more.
