⚠️ EXTREMELY COLD AIR will be in place Sunday morning with wind chills near 0 degrees in many spots. This air will spill in on Saturday night.

🚰 DRIP FAUCETS on Saturday night. This cold may last for at least a few days and cause issues with water pipe infrastructure.

🔺 A WARM UP may be on the horizon sometime later in the month, but that could flip and flop between now and then so check in for updates.

Some of you may already know, but we purchased Collsion Specialists on Whittaker St. in Salem. We were called out for several risky tows throughout the flooding. It’s our job and we were prepared BUT, I want to give a shout out to David Huffhine Jr., who helps with the properties! If you rent from us, you’ve probably met him. He just happened to be on scene of one of the major flood spots when we arrived. He didn’t hesitate to jump to action! In the strong current, he was physically pulling motorists from their vehicles and placing them on our truck so we could get them to higher ground. He did so while other inconsiderate motorists and semi trucks were barreling through the flood waters. He put his own life at risk last night just to help people in need. I’m so proud to call him a friend.

Winter storms are on the way, making it essential to be prepared! If temperatures drop below freezing, allow your faucets to drip and keep the cabinets open where pipes are situated. Maintain your heating at a steady minimum of 65 degrees. Additionally, have a stock of non-perishable food, extra batteries, and blankets ready in case of power outages. If you're renting from us, here are a few extra reminders:

❄️ All steps and walkways have been salted, but it's advisable to stay indoors if the weather worsens.

❄️ A snowplow will be dispatched to clear the snow, so please be patient as they service multiple properties.

❄️ If you suspect a burst pipe or encounter any other property-related emergency, please contact us and submit a Buildium request immediately.

❄️ If you don’t have renters insurance, now is an excellent time to consider obtaining it.
