Hey friends, I need your help!

I have a family that’s looking for the perfect home here in southern NH. They’ve seen everything on the MLS and are still on the hunt. Here’s what they're looking for…

This family is looking for a minimum of a 4-bedroom (preferably 5-bedroom) home. Must be over 4,000 sqft to include a finished basement, designated office space, and 3-car garage. They’re looking to stay in the Pinkerton school district and ideally have some privacy and space to enjoy.

We’ve seen everything available in the Derry, Chester, Candia, Hampstead, Auburn, and Hooksett towns, so I’m curious – is there anything coming to the market soon or later this year that would fit this family’s needs??

They really value charm and character in a house and would love to have a home that welcomes big family gatherings, but with spaces for everyone to spread out and enjoy.

They’re open to resales or new construction with a budget up to $1M.

When the winter storms rolled in, I did what any woman in her thirties would do…call my dad! Of course, he came to the rescue and gave me a snowblower, so my boyfriend, Bryan, and I wouldn’t get stuck in my driveway.

So Bryan and I repaid him the best way we know, with lunch at Mi Jalisco in Manchester. 😋

I've driven past this place so many times, and now that I’ve tried it, I’m officially hooked! The street tacos are some of the best I’ve had. Between the steak, chorizo, and al pastor, I truly don’t know which one I liked best. Plus, the verde sauce you can drizzle over them is sooo delicious. My dad got the special #8, which was an enchilada and burrito. I stole a few forkfuls and was pleasantly surprised…I’m not much of an enchilada lover, but the poblano sauce and melted cheese combo made these so yummy. Bryan tried the carnita street tacos with a side of rice and beans. The highlight for him was the spice and flavor of the tomatillo sauce (the more spice, the happier Bryan is. 😆

And the service was 10 outta 10! If you know me, I’m one of those annoying people who wants their water filled up at all times…I know it’s a bit dramatic, but our server was on top of it without me even having to ask!

And for all of us, the bill was under $40!! I feel like that’s unheard of these days!

This post is for the men.... This is a five-alarm warning, not a drill!

I just realized something terrifying: Valentine's Day is on a Saturday this year.

A Saturday!

That means every other person is going to be out competing for the same 6:00 pm table. If you haven't booked your reservations yet, you are officially in the danger zone.

I’d hate for any of you to end up celebrating your enduring love with a sad slice of take-out pizza on the couch. Move fast, secure that table, and save yourselves from a guaranteed apology.

I recently attended a conference where one speaker shared something really profound.

We’re living in a time where we’re more digitally connected than ever…yet people feel more ALONE than ever.

A few things that stood out to me:

- 74% of restaurant orders now happen off-premises.
- Loneliness harms your health as much as smoking 15 ci******es a day.
- Teens spend a third of their waking hours on screens.
- Millennials and Gen Z hang out with friends 50% less than Gen X did in the early ’90s.
- Community involvement has dropped by more than half since the 80s and 90s.
- New homes are 50% larger than in the 70s… while families are smaller than ever.

And here’s the wild part, even social media isn’t really “social” anymore. In a recent FTC antitrust case, Meta argued it’s NOT a social media company at all.

Their own data shows that only a tiny fraction of our time on Facebook or Instagram is spent actually interacting with people we know. Most of it is spent watching videos of strangers that the algorithm feeds us to keep us scrolling.

The trend is clear:

We’re more entertained than ever…but far less connected.

And for someone like me who helps people move in, move out, and plant new roots, this matters deeply.

Because people aren’t just looking for a house.

They’re looking for community.

They want neighbors who wave.

People who know their names.

Kids who grow up together.

A sense of belonging that no screen or algorithm can replace.

That talk was such a powerful reminder of why I love what I do.

Homes matter.

Community matters.

People matter.

And bringing people back together might be one of the most meaningful things any of us can do right now.
