You have choices!!
#1 You can contact a realtor to help you sell your home.
👉You will enter into a contract with them for usually six months.
👉They will come to your house to assess your property.
👉They will tell you what you need or can do to improve its value.
👉They will price your home for what they believe it will sell for based on recent surrounding sold properties and the condition of your house.
👉If the buyer is securing a loan, then the bank will usually require an appraisal and an inspection. Even if a buyer is paying cash, the buyer generally will get an inspection.
👉They will list it on the Multiple Listing Service. Your realtor or other realtors will show your house to prospective buyers.
👉They will handle the timelines for what needs to be done and they will take care of the paperwork. Listing time to closing time is usually anywhere from 3 to 6 months, sometimes longer.
😟Selling with a realtor will likely cost you 6% of your profit. On average, 3% goes to the seller agent and 3% to the buyer agent (the seller normally pays both agents from the profit).
